“Crazxy” is a high-intensity suspense-thriller film featuring an extraordinary performance by Soham Shah. Director Girish Kohli presents the film with a unique style that keeps the audience captivated until the very end.
Crazxy: A Unique Blend of Suspense and Thrills
Starring Soham Shah and written and directed by Girish Kohli, “Crazxy” is a suspense-thriller with a plot and screenplay that are entirely unexpected. Filled with intense thrills and surprising twists, this film will leave you wondering how the director came up with such ideas!
What is the story of “Crazxy”?
Following his work in cult horror-fantasy films like "Tumbad," Soham Shah once again surprises with his exceptional acting. The entire film revolves around his character, Dr. Abhimanyu Sud, who is distraught by the news of his 16-year-old daughter, who has Down syndrome, being kidnapped.
Initially, Dr. Abhimanyu suspects it's a prank, then he suspects his ex-wife. But he soon realizes his daughter is truly kidnapped and embarks on a dangerous journey to save her, facing the biggest test of his life.
A Unique Road Movie
The film is almost entirely shot inside a moving vehicle. Characters other than Dr. Abhimanyu are not visually present; their voices are heard only through phone calls. The exceptional voice acting of Nimisha Sajayan, Piyush Mishra, and Tinnu Anand adds depth and impact to the film. Director Girish Kohli utilizes these voices skillfully, deepening the intense atmosphere.
A Perfect Mix of Emotion and Thrill
The film features a scene where Abhimanyu remotely guides his hospital junior through an emergency surgery via video call while simultaneously fixing a flat tire on his car. The intercutting of the live surgery and tire-changing process is exceptional and provides a memorable experience for the audience.
Exceptional Editing and Excellent Cinematography
This 1 hour 40-minute film keeps viewers engaged from start to finish. The climax and the revelation regarding the kidnapping are completely surprising. However, some viewers might find the climax a bit too “crazy,” but the film's emotional aspect balances it out.
Having crafted films like “Maa” and “Kesari,” Girish Kohli showcases his talent in directing “Crazxy.” He gives the film a distinct presentation, placing it firmly in the category of classic suspense-thrillers.
