Sonu Nigam was performing live amidst a crowd of thousands of students at DTU's Engifest 2025. Suddenly, some students began throwing bottles and stones onto the stage. Another student mentioned that Sonu Nigam handled the situation calmly, appealing for restraint from everyone.

As of now, Sonu Nigam has not issued any official statement regarding the matter. No posts or videos related to the incident have been found on his social media handles. However, some glimpses of his Delhi University concert are visible on Instagram, but they do not show the disturbance.
