Bihar News: Bihar's Deputy Chief Minister, Samrat Chaudhary, made a significant announcement at the teacher appointment letter distribution ceremony held at Patna's Gandhi Maidan on Sunday. He stated that the state government is going to provide government jobs and employment to 50 lakh youth. This announcement came after he distributed appointment letters to teachers selected under the BPSC TRE-3 recruitment. Chief Minister Nitish Kumar and several other officials were also present on this occasion.
Appointment letters given to over 51,000 teachers
The Bihar government distributed appointment letters to over 51,000 teachers under the BPSC teacher recruitment drive. Chief Minister Nitish Kumar and Deputy CM Samrat Chaudhary personally handed over appointment letters to 10,739 teachers at the main ceremony held at Patna's Gandhi Maidan. Similar appointment letter distribution programs were also organized in 31 other districts of the state.
Samrat Chaudhary's major announcement – Employment for 50 lakh
During this program at Gandhi Maidan, Deputy CM Samrat Chaudhary said, "We announced four or five days ago in the state assembly that the Bihar government will provide government jobs and employment to 50 lakh people. This is a historic step, which no Chief Minister in the country has been able to take so far." He added that there will be no more questions regarding the quality of education in Bihar, as the BPSC-selected teachers will make a significant contribution towards improving education in the state.
Education sector receives a budget of ₹60,000 crore
The Deputy CM further explained that the Bihar government has taken significant steps to strengthen the education sector. He said, "Under the instructions of Chief Minister Nitish Kumar, out of Bihar's total budget of ₹3.17 lakh crore, ₹60,000 crore has been allocated solely for education and teacher recruitment." He also stated that the government is proving its commitment to education and will further strengthen the education system in the coming times.
Scholarship amount doubled
To promote education, the Bihar government has also doubled the scholarship amount. The Deputy CM said that on the instructions of the Chief Minister, students from extremely backward, backward, Dalit, and minority communities have been given special benefits in the scholarship scheme so that they can receive higher education and secure their future.
