Chhattisgarh Municipal Elections Underway
Voting is underway today, February 11th, for the Chhattisgarh municipal elections. The elections encompass 173 municipal bodies, including 10 municipal corporations. Results will be declared on February 15th. Stringent security measures are in place.
CG Nikay Chunav: Voters across Chhattisgarh are exercising their right to vote today for Mayors, Chairpersons, and councilors in Municipal Corporations, Municipalities, and Nagar Panchayats respectively. Voting is taking place in 10 Municipal Corporations, 49 Municipalities, and 114 Nagar Panchayats across the state. Voting will continue from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM.
Tight Security at Polling Stations
The administration has implemented robust security arrangements to ensure the peaceful conduct of the elections. Security forces have been deployed at all polling stations. Polling teams have reached their respective centers, and the voting process has commenced.
