Delhi BJP Government Convenes Four-Day Assembly Session

The newly formed Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) government in Delhi has convened a four-day assembly session from February 24 to 27, 2025. This session will include the swearing-in of all MLAs and the presentation of 14 pending Comptroller and Auditor General (CAG) reports, which have been pending for the past five years.

New Delhi: The newly formed BJP government in Delhi has announced a four-day assembly session from February 24 to 27, 2025. During this session, all MLAs will take their oaths, and 14 pending CAG reports will be presented. Chief Minister Rekha Gupta will meet the President, Vice President, and Prime Minister Narendra Modi today. Additionally, Transport Minister Dr. Pankaj Singh has called a meeting with officials to discuss Delhi's transport system, departmental issues, and challenges.

In a recent statement, Chief Minister Rekha Gupta asserted that her government has begun working and positive changes will soon be visible in Delhi. She took a swipe at the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP), stating that they should focus on themselves and their party; her government is here to work and will deliver on its promises. Gupta reiterated that her government will not waste a single day in fulfilling its agenda.

Cabinet Minister Ashish Sood also stated that his government will work diligently to fulfill its promises and will achieve them at all costs. He alluded to the alleged misgovernance of the AAP government in Delhi over the past 10 years, stating that the people of Delhi will now witness actual work.
