BJP Government Launches Mahila Samridhi Yojana in Delhi, Providing ₹2500 Monthly to Women

The BJP government in Delhi has launched the Mahila Samridhi Yojana (Women Prosperity Scheme) at the JLN Stadium, providing economically weaker women with ₹2500 per month. JP Nadda launched the first installment of the scheme.

Mahila Samman Yojana: The new BJP government has introduced the Mahila Samridhi Yojana to empower and honor Delhi's women. Under this scheme, economically weaker women will receive financial assistance of ₹2500 per month. BJP national president JP Nadda and Chief Minister Rekha Gupta launched the first installment of the scheme at a grand ceremony held at Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium (JLN).

Cabinet Approves Mahila Samridhi Yojana

The Mahila Samridhi Yojana was approved in the second cabinet meeting after the BJP government's formation. This scheme aims to economically empower poor and needy women in Delhi. Thousands of women will directly benefit from this scheme, enabling them to better manage their household responsibilities.

Chief Minister Overcome with Emotion on Women's Day

During the ceremony at JLN Stadium, Chief Minister Rekha Gupta stated in her address, "Today, standing in this hall, I am deeply moved. On Women's Day, there could be no greater honor than the BJP appointing a woman as Chief Minister. I am fully committed to the safety, education, and prosperity of Delhi's women."

Significant Steps Towards Women's Safety in Delhi

Chief Minister Rekha Gupta highlighted women's safety as a top priority for Delhi, announcing plans to increase the number of CCTV cameras, women safety personnel, and the construction of one-stop centers and pink toilets. She assured that the BJP government will fulfill all its promises to the women of Delhi.

At the ceremony, BJP president JP Nadda attributed the BJP government's victory in Delhi to the women. He said, "Women have played a crucial role in forming the BJP government in Delhi. A developed India is impossible without instilling confidence in women's hearts."

More Schemes for Women's Empowerment to be Implemented

The BJP had promised in its election manifesto to provide ₹2500 monthly financial assistance to economically weaker women. Prime Minister Narendra Modi had announced during election rallies that this scheme would be launched on Women's Day.
