Haryana News: A significant step has been taken towards securing the jobs of temporary employees in Haryana. The government has prepared a Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) to ensure the service of employees under the Haryana Kaushal Rozgar Nigam (HKRNL) until retirement. Simultaneously, a plan to provide a monthly allowance of ₹2100 to women is progressing rapidly. Let's understand the details:
Securing Jobs for Temporary Employees
The state government has drafted an SOP regarding service security for employees working under the Haryana Kaushal Rozgar Nigam. Under this SOP, temporary employees who have completed at least five years of service will have their jobs secured until retirement.
Seeking Suggestions from Employee Organizations
Before implementing the SOP, the government plans to seek opinions and suggestions from all employee organizations to avoid future disputes. Chief Secretary Anurag Rastogi stated that the delay is due to the lack of response from employee organizations. Reminders are being sent to maintain transparency in the process.
Benefits for Millions of Employees
The Chief Secretary clarified that this decision affects millions of employees, and the government wants to implement it with sensitivity and without haste. The notification will be issued after receiving feedback from all stakeholders. This will provide stability to the future of temporary employees in the state.
Strict Action Against Corrupt Officials
The Chief Secretary also mentioned that the government is taking a strict stance against corruption. Instructions have been given to the department to terminate the services of HCS officer Ashwini Kumar. Previously, HCS officer Anil Nagar was dismissed on corruption charges, and Regan Kumar on charges of sexual harassment.
Preparations for Nuclear Plant in Fatehabad
The government is also working rapidly on the proposed nuclear power plant in Fatehabad district. A crucial meeting of departmental officials has been called on June 9th to review the project's progress. Following this, Chief Minister Nayab Saini will visit the plant on June 14th. This plant will be a significant step towards meeting the state's energy needs.
Major Infrastructure Changes: KMP and KGP
The Chief Secretary stated that the Kundli-Manesar-Palwal (KMP) and Kundli-Ghaziabad-Palwal (KGP) highways have significantly reduced traffic pressure in the NCR region. Furthermore, the Haryana Orbital Rail Corridor is expected to be completed by December 2027, strengthening the state's industrial and transportation network.
₹2100 Monthly Allowance for Women
In further positive news for women, the government will soon start providing a monthly allowance of ₹2100 under the "Laddo Lakshmi Yojana." A budget provision of ₹5000 crore has been allocated for this scheme.
Transparent Portal-Based System
The Chief Secretary explained that the scheme will be operated through a portal or computerized system to ensure transparency and direct benefit transfer to eligible women. Meetings with the finance and other related departments have been held, and the scheme's draft is nearly complete.
