India Intensifies Global Anti-Terrorism Campaign After Pulwama Attack

Following the terrorist attack in Pulwama, Jammu and Kashmir, and the subsequent Operation Sindur, India has declared a decisive war against terrorism. India is now engaged in exposing Pakistan-sponsored terrorist networks not only at its borders but also internationally.

New Delhi: India has intensified its anti-terrorism campaign following the Pulwama terrorist attack. As part of this effort, an Indian delegation, led by Janata Dal United (JDU) leader Sanjay Jha, has arrived in Indonesia, the world's most populous Muslim-majority country.

Significant discussions were held between India and Indonesia regarding cooperation against terrorism and extremism. This initiative is considered a major step towards internationally isolating Pakistan's terrorist networks.

The Pulwama Attack and India's Proactive Response

The terrorist attack in Pulwama, Jammu and Kashmir, sent shockwaves across the nation. Following this, India strengthened its national security apparatus and began implementing new anti-terrorism strategies. The successful execution of Operation Sindur inflicted heavy losses on the terrorists, boosting the morale of India's armed forces and security agencies.

Following the attack, India not only adopted a b stance against terrorism domestically but also increased its international engagement. India's all-party delegation is visiting various countries worldwide to expose Pakistan's terrorist modules.

Indonesia Visit: A New Alliance in the Fight Against Terrorism

The Indian delegation met with leaders of Nahdlatul Ulama (NU), Indonesia's leading Islamic organization, along with politicians, journalists, and members of the business community in Jakarta, the Indonesian capital. The meeting aimed to strengthen cooperation against terrorism and extremism. Sanjay Jha stated, "The friendship and partnership between India and Indonesia have strengthened. We have pledged to work together against terrorism. Indonesia has always stood with India to maintain regional integrity and peace."

Representatives from Nahdlatul Ulama condemned the Pulwama terrorist attack and stated their complete rejection of attacks on civilians. They expressed hope for a partnership with India for stability and peace in the region.

India's Strategy on the International Front Against Pakistan

The meeting emphasized strategies to prevent Pakistan's anti-India proposals from being passed in international forums like the OIC (Organization of Islamic Cooperation). India appealed to Indonesia for cooperation in isolating Pakistan on the issue of terrorism. This initiative comes at a time when India has secured support from several Muslim-majority countries, including Egypt, Oman, Kazakhstan, and Bahrain. These countries condemned the Pulwama attack and assured India of their support.

India Addresses the Colombia Dispute

Meanwhile, another Indian delegation visited Colombia. The Colombian government expressed concerns regarding India's Operation Sindur. However, Indian Congress MP Shashi Tharoor immediately objected to this statement and played a crucial role in explaining India's perspective. Following a full briefing, Colombian Deputy Foreign Minister Rosa Yolanda Villavicencio stated that a new statement supporting India's position would be issued, strengthening India's credibility and influence.

Today, terrorism is not just a problem for one country but a major threat to the entire world. Cooperation and unity among nations are essential to counter this threat. Through this initiative, India has not only strengthened its regional security but also sent a message that all religions and countries must unite in the fight against extremism and terrorism.
