India Battles Fluctuating Weather: Heatwaves, Thunderstorms, and Heavy Rain Across the Country

Unpredictable weather patterns are affecting many parts of the country. While some regions are experiencing thunderstorms and rain disrupting daily life, many others are grappling with intense heat and heatwaves.

Several states are under the grip of severe heatwaves, while others are witnessing continuous thunderstorms and rainfall. The Indian Meteorological Department (IMD) has released its weather forecast for the day, predicting heavy rain and thunderstorms in some states.

Other areas will continue to experience intense heat and heatwaves. The changing weather patterns across the country are attributed to the active Western Disturbances and cyclonic winds, leading to varied weather conditions in different regions.

Yellow Alert for Delhi-NCR

Delhi and its surrounding areas are expected to experience changing weather conditions today. The IMD has issued a yellow alert, predicting partly cloudy skies with light rain in some areas. Strong winds (40-50 km/h) and dust storms are also anticipated, potentially bringing some relief from the heat.

The maximum temperature may reach 42°C, while the minimum temperature is expected to hover around 24°C. People are advised to exercise caution due to the anticipated dust storms.

Uttar Pradesh is expected to experience regional variations in weather. The western parts of the state will continue to experience heatwaves, with temperatures likely to range between 40°C and 42°C. However, eastern Uttar Pradesh may experience light rain and showers with thunderstorms. The meteorological department has also warned of b winds (40-50 km/h), which could disrupt daily life.
