Train Cancellations: If you are planning to travel by train in June and your journey passes through Katni Junction in Madhya Pradesh, you need to be cautious. Indian Railways has canceled a total of 16 trains due to ongoing development work at Katni station in the Jabalpur division. These trains operate between various states, potentially impacting lakhs of passengers.

Changes Due to Development Work at Katni Station
According to the Railway Board, work is underway at Katni Junction on the signaling system, platform expansion, and track upgrades. This work will continue during the first and second weeks of June. Consequently, several trains have been partially or completely canceled. Railway officials have stated that this work is being done to enhance passenger safety and operational efficiency. However, it may cause some inconvenience to passengers for a few days.
