Former Chief Minister and BJP leader Jai Ram Thakur stated in the Assembly that outsiders from neighboring states are disrupting the state's atmosphere. He explained that Himachal Road Transport Corporation buses were forcibly stopped in Punjab and posters of Bhindranwale were placed on them. Such incidents pose a threat to the state's peace and security.
Chief Minister assures resolution
Regarding this matter, Himachal Pradesh Chief Minister Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu assured the Assembly that the state government is taking it seriously. He said, "Some mischievous elements are perpetrating these incidents. We will speak to the Punjab Chief Minister regarding this issue and strive to find a solution as soon as possible."
Rajnath Singh raises the issue on an international platform
Earlier, Defence Minister Rajnath Singh, during a meeting with the head of the US intelligence agency, Tulsi Gabbard, expressed concern over the activities of the Khalistani organization 'Sikhs for Justice' (SFJ). He demanded strict action to curb anti-India activities.
