Kharge Condemns Pahalgam Terrorist Attack, Holds Pakistan Responsible

Congress President Kharge Condemns Pahalgam Terrorist Attack, Blames Pakistan

Following the terrorist attack in Pahalgam, Congress President Mallikarjun Kharge launched a scathing attack on Pakistan. He stated that Pakistan is the perpetrator of terrorism and India is its victim. Kharge appealed to the international community to understand and support India's stance. He also demanded that Pakistan be placed back on the FATF grey list.

The terrorist attack in Pahalgam, Jammu and Kashmir, has sent shockwaves across the nation. Following the attack, not only the ruling party but also opposition parties have demanded b action against Pakistan. Congress President Mallikarjun Kharge condemned the attack and raised serious questions about Pakistan's role.

Kharge stated that India is a victim of terrorism, while Pakistan is its producer. He asserted that there can be no comparison between the two. He urged the international community to understand and support India's perspective.

Concerns Raised Over Pakistan's Funding

Mallikarjun Kharge raised another crucial issue. He stated that the loans and financial aid Pakistan receives from international organizations are being used for military purposes and terrorist activities. He expressed concerns that Pakistan is using international loans to bolster its defense budget and support terrorists in order to overcome its economic crisis.

Demand to Re-include Pakistan in FATF Grey List

The Financial Action Task Force (FATF) is an international organization that monitors terrorist financing and money laundering. Kharge demanded that Pakistan be re-included in the FATF grey list. He reminded everyone that Pakistan has been on this list three times, twice during the tenure of the Narendra Modi government.

Kharge believes that if economic pressure is maintained on Pakistan through sanctions, it may be deterred from engaging in terrorist activities. He stressed the importance of FATF oversight in achieving this.

Questions Raised on Pakistan's New Role in UNSC Committee

Kharge also expressed concern over Pakistan's appointment as the chair of the United Nations Security Council (UNSC) Taliban sanctions committee. He stated that it is ironic that a country accused of supporting terrorists should now head the Taliban sanctions committee.
