The Saurabh murder case continues to reveal new details daily, further complicating the investigation. A shocking new fact has emerged—Muskaan abandoned her husband and daughter five years ago to secretly spend eleven days with her lover, Sahil.
Meerut: Police have uncovered new details in the Saurabh murder case that has shaken the city. The relationship between childhood friends Sahil and Muskaan evolved from love to a horrific conspiracy. The police investigation revealed that Sahil and Muskaan planned the brutal murder to eliminate Muskaan's husband, Saurabh, from their lives.
A Story of Love and Betrayal
Sahil and Muskaan's friendship dated back to childhood, but their relationship continued even after Muskaan's marriage. In 2021, Muskaan planned to elope with Sahil, leaving her husband, Saurabh, and their daughter, Pihu, behind in Meerut. They secretly resided in Gurugram, but Saurabh filed a police complaint, leading to their discovery and arrest eleven days later. Muskaan was forced to return to Saurabh, but she continued her clandestine meetings with Sahil.
Saurabh was aware of the relationship between Muskaan and Sahil. He pressured Muskaan to end it, but their affair persisted. On March 3rd, Muskaan sent her daughter, Pihu, to her maternal home and then, together with Sahil, murdered Saurabh. The post-mortem report indicates that Saurabh suffered more than ten stab wounds but remained alive until his throat was slit. After the murder, his body was dismembered, placed in a drum, and sealed with cement and chemicals.
Crucial Evidence Found During Police Investigation
Police have recovered two knives used in the murder, the drum, chemicals used to clean the floor, and the mobile phones of both accused. Screenshots of WhatsApp and Snapchat conversations retrieved from these phones exposed their conspiracy. Saurabh's brother, Rahul, alias Bablu, alleges that Muskaan and Sahil's family members were also involved in the murder.
He claims that Saurabh regularly sent money from London to support Muskaan's family. Even now, approximately 6 lakh rupees remain in Saurabh's bank account, potentially providing a significant motive for Muskaan's family's involvement. Meerut SSP Vipin Tada stated that the case has been registered under ‘SR Case’—meaning police surveillance and advocacy will continue until the accused receive their sentences. He assured that all evidence will be presented in court, and the accused will receive the strictest possible punishment.
Saurabh's brother, Bablu, vowed to pursue justice until Muskaan and Sahil receive the death penalty. He believes Saurabh's murder was a premeditated conspiracy involving multiple individuals. The entire family now awaits the court's verdict.
