Prime Minister Narendra Modi will take a holy dip in the Sangam on Wednesday, the Ashtami Tithi of Magh month. Afterward, he will perform Ganga Pujan and pray for the well-being and prosperity of the nation. His program will last approximately one hour.

Mahakumbh 2025: Prime Minister Narendra Modi will participate in the Prayagraj Mahakumbh on February 5th, where he will take a holy bath in the Sangam. During this time, he will also perform Ganga Pujan and offer prayers for the prosperity and well-being of the nation.

PM Modi's Sangam Snan and Ganga Pujan

On Wednesday, during the auspicious time of Ashtami Tithi in Magh month, Prime Minister Modi will take a holy dip in the Triveni Sangam. After the bath, he will perform Ganga Puja and Aarti on the Sangam banks. The Prime Minister will arrive in Prayagraj at 10:00 AM and will travel to the Sangam via boat from Arail Ghat. His total stay at the Mahakumbh will be approximately one hour.

PM Modi's Detailed Program

The Prime Minister's Mahakumbh visit will be as follows:

10:00 AM: PM Modi will arrive at Bamrauli Airport by special aircraft.
Arrival at Arail by helicopter: He will land at the helipad at the DPS ground in Arail using three army helicopters.
Journey to Sangam: He will travel from Arail to the VIP jetty by car and then proceed to the Sangam for the holy bath via the Nishad Raj cruise.
Ganga Pujan and meeting with saints: After the bath, he will perform Ganga Aarti on the Sangam banks and meet representatives from Akhadas, Acharya Wada, Dandi Wada, and Khaakchouk.
Departure: After approximately one hour, PM Modi will return from Prayagraj.

PM Modi's Long-Standing Association with the Kumbh

Prime Minister Modi has previously performed puja and aarti on the Sangam banks. On December 13, 2024, he performed Ganga Aarti and prayed for the successful organization of this mega-event. He also participated in the 2019 Kumbh.
