PM Modi Somnath Visit: Prime Minister Narendra Modi will undertake two Gujarat visits in March. The first will be a three-day visit from March 1st to March 3rd, followed by a visit to Surat and Navsari on March 7th. First Visit: March 1st to March 3rd

Visit to begin in Jamnagar

Prime Minister Modi will arrive in Jamnagar on the evening of March 1st and stay overnight at the Circuit House. The next day, he is scheduled to visit the Vanantara Wildlife Care Centre in Jamnagar, run by the Reliance Group.

Gir National Park and Jungle Safari

After visiting Vanantara, Prime Minister Modi will depart for Sasan Gir on the evening of March 2nd. He will stay at the forest department's guest house, 'Singh Sadan'. On March 3rd morning, the Prime Minister will enjoy a jungle safari in the Gir National Park, world-renowned for its Asiatic lions.

Chairing the National Board for Wildlife Meeting

Following the jungle safari, Prime Minister Modi will chair a meeting of the National Board for Wildlife (NBWL). This meeting will discuss important issues related to wildlife conservation across the country. This meeting will be special as it will be chaired by the Prime Minister for the first time.

Inauguration of ₹3000 Crore 'Project Lion'

During this time, Prime Minister Modi will inaugurate 'Project Lion,' a ₹3000 crore plan to strengthen lion conservation in the country.

Visit and Prayers at Somnath Temple

After the meeting, Prime Minister Modi will visit and offer prayers at the Somnath Temple. He will also chair a meeting of the Shri Somnath Trust, which manages the Somnath Temple.

Return to Delhi

After visiting Somnath, Prime Minister Modi will depart for Delhi from Rajkot airport at 2:30 PM on Monday.

Second Visit: March 7th and 8th

Event for Beneficiaries in Surat

Prime Minister Narendra Modi will arrive in Surat on March 7th. He will participate in a large event at the Neelgiri Ground in Limbayat. During this event, he will distribute kits to beneficiaries of government schemes, particularly senior citizens.

Overnight Stay at Surat Circuit House

After the Surat event, Prime Minister Modi will stay overnight at the Surat Circuit House.

International Women's Day Celebration in Navsari

On March 8th, Prime Minister Modi will participate in the International Women's Day celebrations in Navsari. A large public gathering is also planned here.
