Rohtak Himani Murder Case Solved; Accused Sachin Mundka Arrested; Murder Over Financial Dispute; Police Take Three-Day Remand.

Himani Murder Case: The mystery behind the murder of Congress worker Himani Narwal has been solved. Police arrested the accused, Sachin, alias Dhillu, from Mundka, Delhi. Sachin, a 30-year-old resident of Khairpur village, Jhajjar district, was produced in court and remanded to police custody for three days.

Incident Stemming from Financial Dispute

Police investigations revealed a financial dispute between Himani and Sachin. This dispute led Sachin to murder Himani. On February 28th, Sachin visited Himani's home, where an argument ensued. In a fit of rage, Sachin bound Himani's hands and strangled her with a charger cable.

Body Hidden in Suitcase After Murder

After the murder, Sachin placed Himani's body in a blue suitcase. He then went to his shop on Himani's scooter, hiding her jewelry, mobile phone, and laptop there. Around 11 pm, he returned to Himani's house and took the body in an auto-rickshaw to the Delhi bypass in Rohtak. From there, he boarded a bus and traveled 25 kilometers to Sampla, discarding the suitcase in a deserted area near a flyover.

Police Trace Accused Through CCTV Footage and Mobile Location

Police examined CCTV footage from near Himani's house, showing Sachin carrying the suitcase at night. They also traced Himani's mobile phone, leading them to Sachin's location. Based on this evidence, police arrested him in Mundka, Delhi.

Friendship Forged on Facebook; Accused was Married

Police investigations revealed that Sachin and Himani had befriended each other on Facebook a year and a half ago. Sachin was already married and had two children. He ran a mobile repair shop in Kanauda village. He frequently visited Himani's house, taking advantage of her living alone.

Brother Demands Death Penalty

Police confirmed Sachin's arrest on Monday, after which Himani's family took her body for the last rites. Her brother, Jatin, performed the last rites and demanded the death penalty for the accused.
