RSS Chief Mohan Bhagwat to Embark on a Five-Day Visit to Varanasi

RSS chief Mohan Bhagwat will be in Varanasi for a five-day visit. He will participate in local Shakha meetings, interact with volunteers, and deliberate on preparations for the organization's centenary year.

UP News: RSS chief Mohan Bhagwat will arrive in Varanasi today for a five-day visit. From April 3rd to April 7th, he will stay at the Nivedita Shiksha Sadan in Mahmoorganj. During this time, he will participate in RSS Shakha meetings, interact with volunteers, and meet with prominent citizens of Kashi.

Discussions on the Strategy for the Sangh's Centenary Year

During this visit, Bhagwat will deliberate on preparations for the RSS's centenary year. 2025 marks the 100th anniversary of the RSS's founding, and special events are planned. The Sangh plans to conduct introspection on Vijayadashami, the anniversary date, to consider how the organization can further serve society. A framework for disseminating Sangh literature widely and enhancing public outreach will also be developed.

The Sangh Chief's Tour and Upcoming Plans

During his previous visit, Bhagwat visited Mirzapur, the Devarha Baba Ashram in Sakteshgarh, the Vanvasi Samaj Kalyan Ashram in Sonbhadra, and the Hathwaram Math in Ghazipur. This time, he will review the Sangh's activities and consider upcoming plans.

Visits to Lucknow and Kanpur

On April 7th, Mohan Bhagwat will depart from Varanasi for Lucknow, where he will participate in various programs from April 7th to 8th. Following this, he will visit Kanpur. He will return to Varanasi on April 30th to attend a mass marriage ceremony.
