Refuting Pakistan's Claims
India vehemently rejected Pakistan's false accusations regarding Kashmir. Mr. Tyagi stated, "It is unfortunate that Pakistan's representatives are spreading misinformation about Kashmir and violating international law." He emphatically asserted that Jammu and Kashmir, and Ladakh, will always remain an integral part of India, and no efforts by Pakistan can alter this fact.
Highlighting Progress in Jammu and Kashmir
India refuted Pakistan's allegations by highlighting the unprecedented political, social, and economic progress achieved in Jammu and Kashmir in recent years. India's representative noted that this progress is a testament to the government's commitment and the trust of the people, who have long suffered under Pakistan-sponsored terrorism and are working towards establishing peace in the region.
Calling on Pakistan to Focus on Internal Issues
India launched a counter-attack against Pakistan, arguing that advice from a failing state like Pakistan, where human rights violations and persecution of minorities are commonplace, is not credible. India further accused Pakistan of harboring UN-designated terrorists, a clear violation of international law.
Advising Pakistan to Improve its Internal Situation
Dismissing Pakistan's statements as hypocritical and indicative of governance failure, India urged Pakistan to focus on its internal problems first. They stated, "Instead of leveling accusations against India, Pakistan should look inwards at its own domestic situation." This statement followed Pakistan's allegations of human rights violations in Kashmir, to which India responded firmly.

The UNHRC session witnessed a further escalation of the conflict between India and Pakistan. After Pakistan's representative, Azam Nazir Tara, raised allegations of human rights violations in Kashmir, India adopted a b stance. India clearly stated that Pakistan should first address its own internal issues, where the state of human rights and democratic principles is weak.
