HTET 2024 Exam Dates Announced
The Haryana Board of School Education (BSEH) has announced the exam dates for the Haryana Teacher Eligibility Test (HTET) 2024. The PRT, TGT, and PGT level exams will be conducted on July 26th and 27th, 2024. Exam centers will be located within candidates' home districts, and CCTV cameras and jammers will be deployed to ensure security.
HTET 2024: Ending the Uncertainty
Students have eagerly awaited the HTET 2024 schedule. The exam was postponed in December 2023 and again in February 2024 due to vacancies in the positions of Chairman and Secretary of the Haryana Board. Following the recent appointments, the Board has promptly released the new exam dates.
HTET Exam 2024 Schedule
According to the schedule released by the Board:
July 26, 2024: One level exam
July 27, 2024: Two level exams
The specific level (Level 1 - PRT, Level 2 - TGT, or Level 3 - PGT) for each day will be confirmed shortly.
Relief for Candidates: Home District Exam Centers
Haryana Board Chairman, Pawan Kumar, stated that to provide convenience to candidates, exam centers will be located within their home districts, minimizing travel time and expenses. While this rule was already in place, it has been reiterated.
Strict Surveillance to Prevent Cheating
To ensure a transparent and fair examination, the Board has implemented stringent security measures. Mr. Pawan Kumar confirmed that all exam centers will be equipped with CCTV cameras and mobile jammers to prevent the use of electronic devices or cheating aids.
HTET Admit Card Release Date
The Board has indicated that admit cards will be released soon, following the announcement of the exam dates. Registered candidates can download their admit cards by logging into the official board website. The admit card will contain details about the exam center, time, and level.
HTET Exam Pattern 2024
The HTET 2024 exam will be conducted offline. It will consist of 150 multiple-choice questions (MCQs), each carrying one mark. Importantly, there will be no negative marking.
Level-Specific Eligibility
Level 1 (PRT): Teachers of classes 1 to 5
Level 2 (TGT): Teachers of classes 6 to 8
Level 3 (PGT): Teachers of classes 9 to 12
Each level exam will be conducted on a different day and in separate shifts.
Preparing for HTET 2024
With the exam dates now confirmed, candidates have approximately two months to prepare. It is crucial to focus on the syllabus and previous year's question papers. Mock tests and sample papers may soon be available on the official board website.
