The National Testing Agency (NTA) has issued important guidelines for the JEE Main 2025 exam, mandatory for all candidates. Candidates can download their admit cards from the official NTA website: jeemain.nta.nic.in.
Education: The second session of JEE Main 2025, one of the largest engineering entrance examinations, is commencing tomorrow. The exam will be held from April 2nd to April 9th, 2025. Lakhs of students aspire to realize their engineering dreams by participating in this exam. The National Testing Agency (NTA) has issued crucial guidelines for the exam, mandatory for all students.
Exam Centers and Schedule
The JEE Main 2025 Session 2 BE/B.Tech Paper 1 will be conducted at 284 centers across India and 15 centers abroad. The exam will be held in two shifts:
Morning Shift: 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM
Afternoon Shift: 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM
Changes in Exam Pattern
This year, the NTA has introduced some changes to the exam pattern. Section B will no longer have optional questions. All 5 questions in this section must be answered. Students must be well-prepared to answer all questions. A penalty of 1 mark is deducted for incorrect answers in the JEE Main exam. Therefore, avoid guesswork. If unsure about an answer, it's safer to leave it unanswered.
Important Guidelines
Reach the exam center at least one hour before the scheduled time. Entry will not be permitted after the gates close.
Carry your admit card and Aadhaar card mandatorily.
The self-declaration form must include a passport-size photograph and a left thumb impression.
Pen/pencil and rough sheets will be provided in the examination hall; write your name and roll number on them. These sheets must be returned after the exam.
For differently-abled students, a disability certificate and identification document are mandatory.
All candidates should download their admit cards from jeemain.nta.nic.in in advance and arrive at the exam center on time. By following these guidelines, they can take the exam without any difficulty.
