How to make Delicious Moong Dal Halwa

Moong dal: ½ cup, soaked and rinsed for 5-6 hours
Ghee: ½ cup
Sugar: ½ cup (mixed with water and milk)
Milk: ½ cup
Water: 1 cup
Cardamom powder: ¼ teaspoon
Roasted cashews and almonds: 2 tablespoons

Rinse the dal and roughly grind it using a food processor.
Heat the milk mixture and allow the sugar to dissolve completely, bringing it to a simmer.
In a pan, combine the ghee and dal. Stir constantly over low heat until well-fried.
Add the milk mixture to the fried dal and mix thoroughly.
Cook over low heat until all the water and milk have evaporated, and the ghee has separated. Stir frequently.
Mix in the cardamom powder and half of the almonds.
