Kunal Kamra wrote, "I'd rather check into a mental hospital." This statement has gone viral among his followers and sparked considerable discussion on social media.
Revealing the Conversation with a Casting Agent
In the chat shared on his Instagram story, a casting agent wrote to him, “I know this might not be on your radar, but honestly, it's a huge platform where you can showcase your style and win over the audience. Should we talk about this?”
In response, Kamra sarcastically said, "I'd rather get admitted to a mental hospital."
It remains unclear whether the offer was for Bigg Boss season 19 or its OTT version.
Kunal Kamra's Ongoing Controversy
Kunal Kamra is currently embroiled in controversy over his new show, 'Naya Bharat,' and his comments about Maharashtra's Deputy CM Eknath Shinde. He used the word 'traitor' ('गद्दार') on his show, leading to an FIR being filed against him.
Kamra has filed a petition in the Bombay High Court seeking the dismissal of the FIR. Meanwhile, the Madras High Court has granted him interim anticipatory bail until April 17th.
