This scheme, operating with an annual budget of ₹5,100 crore, will provide direct financial assistance to women in Delhi, particularly benefiting impoverished and marginalized women, leading to economic stability and social upliftment.

Committee Formation and Scheme Implementation

A committee, chaired by the Honorable Chief Minister of Delhi, has been formed to ensure the successful implementation of the Mahila Samridhi Yojana. This committee includes Ministers Pravesh Sahib Singh, Ashish Sood, and Kapil Mishra. The committee will be responsible for the operation and monitoring of the scheme.

Manifesto Commitment Fulfilled

With the approval of the Mahila Samridhi Yojana, the Delhi government has fulfilled its manifesto promises regarding women's welfare and empowerment. Reacting to this landmark decision, BJP leader Virender Sachdeva stated, "The Mahila Samridhi Yojana is a significant step towards fulfilling our promise to the women of Delhi." He congratulated Chief Minister Rekha Gupta and said that soon, impoverished women in Delhi would begin receiving ₹2500 under the scheme. He also added that on this International Women's Day, attention should also be given to the Punjab sisters who were allegedly betrayed by the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP).
