PM Modi Salutes the Bravery of BSF

In his speech, Prime Minister Modi also lauded the bravery of the Border Security Force (BSF) personnel. He highlighted the remarkable feat displayed by the BSF jawans in Operation Sindur, which has been witnessed by the world. PM Modi stated that the BSF jawans deployed on our borders stand firm as an unwavering rock, safeguarding the nation. Paying tribute to the brave martyrs of Bihar, he said that the land of Bihar has always given birth to valiant sons who have dedicated their youth to the service of the nation.

A Jab at Naxalism and Maoist Violence

Prime Minister Modi, referring to the once prevalent Naxalism and Maoist violence in Sasaram, Kaimur, and other districts of Bihar, stated that the situation here was extremely dire until a few years ago. The Maoists did not trust Babasaheb Ambedkar's Constitution and chose the path of violence. However, since 2014, the government has worked rapidly in this direction and begun punishing the Maoists for their crimes. He said that development paths open only when there is peace, and the people of Bihar are witnesses to this change.

Accelerated Pace of Development in Bihar: Modi

Prime Minister Modi also spoke extensively about the developmental works in Bihar. He mentioned that a network of four-lane roads is being laid across Bihar. The new terminal of Patna Airport has been inaugurated, and an investment of ₹1400 crore is underway at the Bihta Airport. The thousands of crores of rupees worth of projects underway in Bihar will open new employment opportunities for the state's youth. He stated that tourism and trade will also significantly benefit from these projects.
