Om Prakash Rajbhar Launches Scathing Attack on Akhilesh Yadav
UP Politics: Uttar Pradesh's political landscape is once again witnessing heightened rhetoric. Om Prakash Rajbhar, the national president of the Suheldev Bhartiya Samaj Party (SBSP) and Panchayati Raj Minister in the UP government, has launched a sharp attack on Akhilesh Yadav, the Samajwadi Party (SP) chief. He stated, "He who wasn't loyal to his own father, how can he be loyal to anyone else?" This statement was made during a party review meeting in Azamgarh.
This statement not only targets the SP chief but also questions his political stature in the state. Let's delve into the background of Rajbhar's statement, his accusations, and his decision regarding the upcoming panchayat elections.
Rajbhar's Strong Rebuke of the SP
Rajbhar leveled serious allegations against the SP and other opposition parties like the Congress and Bahujan Samaj Party (BSP). He accused these parties of spreading hatred to garner the Muslim vote bank. Rajbhar clarified that his party will contest the upcoming panchayat elections independently and will not participate in any alliance. He explained that alliances wouldn't guarantee sufficient seats, prompting his party to contest independently.
Rajbhar stated, "Our workers deserve a fair chance and the right to fight independently." However, he also confirmed that SBSP will remain with the NDA in the upcoming assembly and Lok Sabha elections.
Strong Accusations Against the SP and Reference to Past Events
Rajbhar also accused the SP of appointing a disproportionate number of Yadavs to administrative positions during Akhilesh Yadav's tenure. He cited the example of 56 out of 86 SDMs being Yadavs, stating this was a matter of public knowledge. Furthermore, Rajbhar responded to the SP's attacks on Deputy CM Brajesh Pathak's DNA, stating that accusations and counter-accusations are common in politics but should be kept within reasonable limits.
He believes that the SP's politics focuses solely on discrediting the BJP, rather than on the welfare of the state's people.
Announcement of Independent Contest in Panchayat Elections
Regarding the panchayat elections, Om Prakash Rajbhar made a significant decision. He clarified that his party will not be a part of any alliance in the upcoming three-tier panchayat elections, citing the lack of equitable seat distribution as the reason. Rajbhar stated, "We will contest the panchayat elections independently, and this time our workers will have complete freedom."
Response to Operation Sindoor and Praise for the Army
Rajbhar also responded to the opposition's questions regarding the recent Operation Sindoor. He stated that this operation made the nation proud of its army. He highlighted that the Indian Army penetrated 100 kilometers into Pakistan and destroyed terrorist bases, with Pakistan itself providing evidence of this action.
Taking a dig at Rahul Gandhi, Rajbhar said that he consumes India's rations and speaks against the country abroad. This statement was a sarcastic remark targeting opposition leaders.
Rajbhar's Statements and Accusations Regarding the Muslim Community
Om Prakash Rajbhar also accused the SP, Congress, and BSP of misleading the Muslim community on controversial issues like CAA and NRC. He stated that despite agitations like Shaheen Bagh over the past two years, no one's citizenship has been revoked.
Rajbhar described the Waqf Amendment Bill as beneficial for the Muslim community, stating it would provide relief to poor Muslims. He also mentioned that 51 Muslim children became IAS officers for the first time due to central government schemes, showcasing the BJP's inclusive policies.
Preparation for the 2027 Assembly Elections
Om Prakash Rajbhar mentioned contesting elections in all 10 assembly seats of Azamgarh and emphasized strengthening the party organization. He stated that SBSP aims to strengthen itself through its own votes, not through reliance on others. He urged all workers to actively participate in the preparations for the panchayat elections.
