India Masters defeated England Masters by 9 wickets in the International Masters League (IML 2025), continuing their exceptional performance.

Led by Sachin Tendulkar, the team secured their second consecutive victory, solidifying their position in the tournament. Sachin Tendulkar's classic batting and Yuvraj Singh's aggressive innings captivated the audience in this match.

England's weak batting, dominance of Indian bowlers

Winning the toss and electing to bowl first, India Masters' bowlers restricted England Masters to a mere 132 runs. Excellent bowling in the initial overs by Dhruv Kulkarni and Abhimanyu Mithun put England under immense pressure. Dhruv Kulkarni took 3 wickets for 21 runs, putting the English batsmen on the back foot.

Pawan Negi and Mithun each took two wickets, preventing England from posting a large score. Tim Ambrose (23 runs) and Darren Maddy (25 runs) put up some resistance, but no batsman could stay at the crease for long. Chris Schofield ultimately contributed 18 runs off 8 balls to reach the final score of 132.

Excellent start by Sachin and Gurkeerat

Chasing the target, India Masters started aggressively. Sachin Tendulkar showcased his classic batting style, scoring 34 runs off 21 balls. His innings included 5 fours and 1 six. Sachin and Gurkeerat Singh Mann added 75 runs for the first wicket, providing an excellent start for the team.

After Sachin's departure, Yuvraj Singh played a quickfire innings of 27 runs off just 14 balls. His arrival ignited the stadium with a huge six over the leg spinner. Yuvraj, along with Gurkeerat, added an unbeaten 57-run partnership, guiding the team to victory in just 11.4 overs. India Masters secured their second consecutive win in the tournament, strengthening their position in the points table.
