The Story of the Pigeon and the Bee
Long ago, in a forest beside a river, a pigeon resided on a tree. One day, a bee, flying through the forest, unfortunately fell into the river. Her wings became soaked. She struggled to get out, but her efforts proved futile. Feeling despair, she cried out for help. Just then, the pigeon, perched on the nearby tree, noticed her plight. Without hesitation, the pigeon took flight to assist the stranded bee.
The pigeon devised a plan to rescue the bee. She grasped a leaf with her beak and gently dropped it into the river. The bee immediately landed on the leaf. Soon, her wings dried. Now ready to fly, the bee thanked the pigeon for saving her life. Then, she flew away.
Days passed. One day, the same pigeon was fast asleep on the tree. At that moment, a boy aimed a slingshot at the pigeon. The pigeon, blissfully unaware, was oblivious to the danger. Simultaneously, the same bee who the pigeon had helped earlier, flew by and spotted the boy. She immediately flew towards the boy, and with precision, stung him directly on his hand. The boy cried out in pain and instantly dropped the slingshot. The sound of the boy's cry woke the pigeon. The bee's quick action had saved the pigeon. The pigeon understood the situation and thanked the bee for her bravery. Both the pigeon and the bee then flew back into the forest.
The moral of this story is: We should always help those in distress. Doing so will surely bring positive outcomes in the future.
