Sheikh Chilli once got a job at a Seth's house. He used to handle all the household chores. The Seth was relieved to have someone to help with the work. He thought everything would be easier now, and he wouldn't have to worry about anything. Sheikh efficiently managed the entire household. He meticulously cleaned the house every day. However, he had one bad habit: he would throw all the garbage outside through the window.

While the house remained clean, the garbage falling from the window inevitably soiled the clothes of passersby. After some time, everyone in the neighborhood became annoyed by Sheikh's actions. They all decided to complain to the Seth about Sheikh. Immediately, neighbors gathered at the Seth's house. Seeing so many people together, the Seth was confused. "Why are you all here? What's wrong?" he asked.

They explained to the Seth about the garbage regularly falling from the window. Hearing this, the Seth called Sheikh over. As soon as Sheikh arrived, the Seth said, "Everyone is complaining that you're throwing garbage on people from above. Don't do it again." Sheikh innocently asked, "Sir, where else should I throw the household garbage if not outside?" The Seth replied, "Throw it only when you see good people. Otherwise, it would cause problems for others."

Sheikh nodded and said, "Alright, I will do as you say." The Seth said, "Fine, go and attend to other tasks." The next day, after cleaning the house, Sheikh stood by the window for hours, holding the garbage. After a while, he began to casually drop the garbage. A young man was getting ready to leave. All the garbage fell on him. Angrily, the young man shouted, "Sethji, Sethji!" and rushed inside.

The Seth asked, "What's wrong? Why are you so angry?" "Sheikh Chilli threw the garbage from your house on me. I was getting ready to go somewhere important," the young man replied. Furious, the Seth called Sheikh and said, "I told you yesterday, but you threw garbage on people again." Sheikh replied, "Sir, you said to throw the garbage only when I see good people. That's what I did. I waited patiently by the window for a good person to come by. I believed these people were good, so I dropped the garbage on them leisurely." The young man, amused by Sheikh's foolishness, left the Seth's house. The Seth put his head in his hands.

The lesson from this story is - One should not just focus on the words of someone's speech, but also understand the intent behind it. Only then can a message be grasped correctly, otherwise, mistakes are bound to happen.
