"The Lengthy Snake: Engaging Tales"
There once was a man who had a penchant for spinning incredibly long yarns. Whenever he told a story, he embellished it to such an extent that even intelligent people, let alone the less informed, would find themselves doubting his account.
One day, a well-wisher advised him to curtail his storytelling. "Your stories are so long that even simpletons begin to suspect you. People laugh at you, make jokes at your expense. It's time to rein it in."
The man agreed. "Alright. Next time I start a story, and you think it's getting too long, just clear your throat subtly. I'll understand."
His well-wisher nodded.
One day, the man was seated among friends, ready to recount a tale. He began, "Once, I was traversing a dreadful jungle. Suddenly, I spotted a colossal snake. I estimated it to be about 140 feet long."
His observant friend cleared his throat. The man hesitated for a moment but continued. "I thought a snake that large couldn't possibly exist. I decided to verify it myself. So, I went closer and estimated it to be around 110 feet."
His friend cleared his throat again.
Annoyed, the man looked at him and said, "110 feet seemed excessive. I figured I could only determine its true length by killing the snake. When I killed it and examined the carcass closely, I realized it couldn't be more than 90 feet.”
His friend burst into laughter.
The storyteller, now agitated and uncomfortable, said, "Hey friends! Verification was necessary. The dead snake was right there in front of me. When I measured it, it turned out to be a mere 70 feet."
His friend laughed even louder, now accompanied by a fit of coughing.
The frustrated storyteller retorted, "Hey friend, what's the point now? The measurement has been taken. Even if you cough yourself to death, the snake's length won't decrease!"
