"The Village Flood"
Once upon a time, a village was struck by a devastating flood.
Helicopters were attempting to rescue people, but for every person rescued, an equal number remained stranded. This was quite surprising for everyone deployed with the relief and rescue team.
Eventually, the media contacted the village head and asked, "According to government records, your village's population is five hundred, and yet nine hundred people have been rescued from the river so far. How is this possible?"
The village head replied, "The records are correct! The fact is, nobody in our village has ever seen a helicopter before. When the army personnel rescue them and try to bring them ashore using the helicopter, they jump back into the water to ride it again! Heaven forbid, but I myself have jumped into the water nine or ten times..."
