The Ugly Duckling: A Famous and Inspiring Story
It was a summer day. As the sun set, a duck found a good place under a tree near the lake to lay her eggs. She laid five eggs. Soon, spring arrived, and the ugly duckling had grown considerably. One day, while wandering by a river, it saw a beautiful swan. It fell in love with the swan.
Yet, it felt unworthy. A deep sense of shame washed over it, and it lowered its head. Then, it saw its reflection in the water. It was astonished! It had grown into a magnificent swan. It realised that it had transformed from an ugly duckling to a beautiful swan. It was no longer just a duck, but a graceful swan, distinctly different from its former siblings. Soon, the swan found a mate and they lived happily ever after.
The moral of this story is: Everyone can discover their true identity in their own time. They can overcome their struggles by understanding and accepting their unique qualities.
