Vivo is preparing to launch a new smartphone in its V50 series, the Vivo V50 Pro. While the Vivo V50 launched in various regions last month, the company hasn't officially announced the Vivo V50 Pro. Meanwhile, reports suggest Vivo is also working on the V50 Lite, V50 Lite (4G), and the standard V50. A new Vivo smartphone recently appeared on Geekbench, hinting that it could be the Vivo V50 Pro.
Vivo V50 Pro Revealed on Geekbench
A Vivo phone with the model number V2504 has been listed on Geekbench. The text in the motherboard field indicates the phone is based on MediaTek MT6989, linked to the Dimensity 9300 or Dimensity 9300+ chipset. Notably, the phone's prime core speed is listed as 3.40GHz, confirming the inclusion of the Dimensity 9300+ processor.
The Geekbench listing also reveals that the V2504 model will have 8GB of RAM and will run on Android 15. Geekbench 6 tests show:
• 1178 points in the single-core test
• 4089 points in the multi-core test
These scores suggest impressive performance.
Vivo V50 Pro Design Might Be Based on the Vivo S20 Pro
Vivo previously launched the V40 Pro and V30 Pro as tweaked versions of the China-released S18 Pro and S19 Pro, respectively. Similarly, the V50 Pro might be a slightly upgraded version of the S20 Pro, launched in December 2024, which is based on the Dimensity 9300+ chipset.

• 50MP OIS primary camera
• 50MP ultra-wide camera

Expectations for the Vivo V50 Pro
While there's no official announcement yet, the Vivo V50 Pro's appearance on Geekbench suggests an imminent launch. It is expected to feature a flagship-level Dimensity 9300+ chipset, a high-resolution camera setup, and a powerful battery. We'll have to wait a little longer for the launch date and pricing information.
