Actor Mushtaq Khan died on September 24. His close friend and comedian Sunil Pal confirmed his death in a conversation with Amar Ujala.
Mushtaq Khan was known for his work in popular films including Gadar and Welcome. News of his death has led to tributes from several Bollywood personalities, who remembered him and shared memories of their time with the actor on social media.
According to reports, Mushtaq Khan had been battling cancer for some time and was undergoing treatment at Nanavati Hospital in Mumbai. He died during treatment.
Following Mushtaq Khan’s death, actor Rajpal Yadav shared an emotional post on social media. He said that he had visited Mushtaq Khan at the hospital just a few hours before his death.
According to Rajpal Yadav, Mushtaq Khan was looking at him at the time, shaking hands and responding to their conversation.
In his post, Rajpal Yadav said he could not believe that Mushtaq bhai, whom he had met just a few hours earlier, was no longer in the world. Remembering the actor, he said Mushtaq Khan was a popular person and a brilliant actor who would always be remembered.
Film director Anil Sharma also remembered Mushtaq Khan following his death. Recalling the time they spent working together, Sharma expressed his condolences.
Anil Sharma wrote that he had shared many moments and several films with Mushtaq Khan. He said he was deeply saddened by the news of the actor’s sudden death and prayed for the peace of his soul and for strength for his family during the difficult time.
Actor Sunny Deol also expressed his grief over Mushtaq Khan’s death. He said that Mushtaq Khan was not only a fine human being but also a brilliant artist.
