The wife of Agra Cantonment Railway Station Deputy Station Manager Narendra Chahar has demanded a public apology from the concerned Railway Protection Force (RPF) personnel following the alleged assault on her husband. The incident is under investigation by the railway administration, while videos related to the case have circulated on social media.
Following the alleged assault on Deputy Station Manager Narendra Chahar at Agra Cantonment Railway Station, his wife, Harendri Chahar, has demanded a public apology from the concerned RPF personnel.
In a video that has surfaced on social media, Harendri Chahar said her husband is a former serviceman and that the manner in which he was treated has hurt the entire family. She said his dignity had been affected and that, in addition to any action taken, his honour should also be restored.
She also said that if she does not receive justice and respect, she may be compelled to take a serious step.
Several videos related to the incident have been circulating on social media. The videos allegedly show an altercation and pushing between Deputy Station Manager Narendra Chahar and RPF personnel.
Another video purportedly shows Narendra Chahar appealing to Station Director Santosh Kumar Tripathi for help. The Station Director is also seen attempting to calm the situation, although the dispute appears to continue.
The authenticity of the viral videos and the complete sequence of events will be confirmed only after the investigation is completed.
According to preliminary information, the dispute reportedly began after an alleged chain-pulling incident involving the Hirakud Express. However, the actual cause of the incident has not yet been established.
The railway administration has initiated an inquiry, and the investigation committee will prepare its report based on the sequence of events, available videos and statements from the concerned parties.
Following the incident, questions have also been raised regarding the conduct of the Railway Protection Force. Officials have stated that it will be determined only after the inquiry report is submitted who was responsible for the incident and what further action will be taken.
