Amit Shah Details Operation Sindoor in Lok Sabha, Counters Opposition on Pakistan

During a statement in the Lok Sabha on Operation Sindoor, Amit Shah sharply countered Akhilesh Yadav's remarks regarding Pakistan. The opposition protested, but Shah provided complete details of the anti-terror operation to the House.

New Delhi: In the Lok Sabha, Home Minister Amit Shah provided detailed information about Operation Sindoor and Operation Mahadev in Jammu and Kashmir. He stated that all three terrorists involved in the Pahalgam attack were killed in a joint operation by the Army, CRPF, and Jammu and Kashmir Police. Shah said that Operation Sindoor also eliminated the handlers who sent those terrorists.

Direct Rebuttal to Akhilesh Yadav's Question

During Shah's statement, Akhilesh Yadav mentioned Pakistan, to which the Home Minister responded, "Akhilesh ji, please sit down and listen to my response completely; you will understand everything." He further added, "Do not be saddened by looking at the religion of terrorists." Along with this, Shah questioned, "Do you have talks with Pakistan?" This sparked an uproar in the House.

Sharp Attack on the Opposition

Shah said that the opposition asks where the terrorists came from, and answering that is our responsibility because we are in government. But when you were in government, why did you not take any responsibility? He also said, "The people who were asking yesterday where the culprits of Pahalgam are, today I am reading out their names in the House."

Details of Terrorists' Names and Actions

The Home Minister informed that terrorists like Mohammed Yusuf Azhar and Mohammed Jamil were killed in Operation Sindoor. He said that most of these terrorists were active when the Congress government was in power. Shah said that this action was based on solid intelligence. He provided complete information along with the date, time, and location of the operation.

Operation Started After 15 Days of Intelligence Gathering

Shah stated that Operation Mahadev began on July 11 when a Chinese satellite phone was found active in the Baisaran area. After this, security agencies constantly monitored the situation, and action was taken on July 22 as soon as the terrorists were confirmed. The operation was fully coordinated, involving the Army, CRPF, and local police.

Identification of Terrorists and Recovery of Weapons

Shah said that the arrested individuals identified the terrorists, and they confirmed all three. Cartridge casings were recovered from the scene, and their forensic investigation had already been completed. The terrorists had weapons like AK-47s and M9 carbines.
