New Delhi: Union Home Minister Amit Shah honored the soldiers involved in Operation Mahadev at a ceremony held in Delhi. This operation was conducted immediately after the Pahalgam terror attack, in which terrorists were neutralized. Addressing the soldiers, Amit Shah said that Operation Mahadev sent a clear message to terrorists that no terrorist can now execute their plans in India.
The Home Minister praised the bravery of the soldiers, saying that they not only defeated the terrorists but also strengthened security and confidence among the countrymen. He stated that Operation Mahadev thwarted the terrorists' strategies and conveyed the message that India's army and security forces are always vigilant.

Amit Shah said that at the time of the Pahalgam attack, tourism in Kashmir was at its peak, and the terrorists' aim was to disrupt the 'Kashmir Mission.' He said that Operation Mahadev not only brought satisfaction but also increased confidence among the countrymen.
He also stated that Operation Mahadev and the earlier Operation Sindoor sent a clear message to terrorists that any attempt to endanger the lives of Indian citizens would have serious consequences. This operation strengthened the belief in the country that terrorists cannot weaken India under any circumstances.

Amit Shah said that the terrorists killed in the operation were identified with the technical assistance of NIA and FSL. This proved that the same terrorists were involved in the Pahalgam attack. He also added that now, along with the army and paramilitary forces, the Jammu and Kashmir Police are also playing an active role in the fight against terror.
