Amit Shah Unleashes Scathing Attack on Mahagathbandhan in Bihar, Vows to End 'Jungle Raj' and Expel Infiltrators

Record-breaking voter turnout was observed in the first phase of the Bihar Assembly elections. Polling for the second phase is now scheduled for November 11. Just before this, Union Home Minister Amit Shah launched a sharp attack on the Mahagathbandhan (Grand Alliance).

Purnia: Ahead of the second phase of the Bihar Assembly elections 2025, Union Home Minister Amit Shah fiercely attacked the Mahagathbandhan and especially the RJD, while addressing a public rally in Banmankhi, Purnia, on Saturday (November 8). He stated that there are two camps in this election – on one side, a scattered 'Thugbandhan' (alliance of fraudsters), and on the other, the NDA, like the five Pandavas, which is leading Bihar on the path of development.

Amit Shah Attacks Mahagathbandhan

The Union Home Minister stated that the parties of Lalu Yadav and Rahul Gandhi have been wiped out in the first phase of the elections, and the NDA is poised to form the government in Bihar with over 160 seats. He emphasized that under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Chief Minister Nitish Kumar, Bihar is moving towards becoming a developed state.

Regarding the Mahagathbandhan, Amit Shah said, "Rahul Baba and Lalu's son, Tejashwi Yadav, embarked on a 'Save Infiltrators Rally'. Their objective is to make Seemanchal a bhold for infiltrators, but the people of Bihar are against this."

'An Industry of Loot and Murder Prevailed During Lalu's Rule'

Amit Shah, referring to the crime and law and order situation during Lalu's rule, said, "During the rule of Lalu-Rabri, MLAs were murdered in broad daylight. A whole industry of loot, murder, extortion, and kidnapping operated. But Nitish Kumar put an end to it. Now, the same 'Jungle Raj' (rule of the jungle/anarchy) is trying to return in disguise, and every vote you cast will work to stop it."

He appealed to the public, stating that it is their responsibility to prevent the return of 'Jungle Raj' when casting their votes. Amit Shah criticized the RJD for giving a ticket to Osama, the son of Shahabuddin, in Siwan. He said,

'Lalu's party gave a ticket to Osama, and during this, Lalu's son chanted the slogan 'Shahabuddin Amar Rahe' (Long live Shahabuddin). But listen, Tejashwi Babu, there is no place for any Osama or Shahabuddin on this land of Bihar, on this land of Siwan.'

Amit Shah stated that infiltrators snatch jobs from the youth, take a share of the poor's rations, and make the country insecure. He assured that the central and state governments would secure the land of Seemanchal by removing encroachments and expelling infiltrators. He emphasized, "We will not only remove infiltrators but also demolish their encroachments, thereby freeing the land of Seemanchal."

Record voting took place in the first phase of the Bihar Assembly elections. Polling for the second phase is now scheduled for November 11, 2025. Political analysts believe that Amit Shah's b and decisive stance has benefited the NDA among local voters.
