Lucknow. Raza, the alleged leader of the Mujahideen Army, used to exchange special messages through the social media group “Mashwara”. Now, the ATS (Anti-Terror Squad) is trying to get to the bottom of his alleged funding and the transactions involved.
According to police claims, Raza used this group to communicate “sensitive” instructions, facilitate money transfers, and discuss involvement in a conspiracy to violence. The investigation also suspects that the funding was from foreign sources, with the aim of spreading regional unrest.
A high-level source indicates that Raza controlled the ‘Mashwara’ group and conveyed his authoritative directives to its members. The ATS has now intensified its investigation into mobile chat history, bank transactions, and the network of group members.
Local police and intelligence agencies are confirming that Raza's influence was not limited to Lucknow but extended to surrounding districts. Several locations within the funding network have been identified, and preparations are underway to uncover them.
Further investigation will attempt to determine the purpose for which Raza created this group, whom he instructed, and how the money was utilized.
