Police have intensified their investigation into the alleged theft of donation money at the Ram Temple in Ayodhya. The main accused, Avinash, is being questioned continuously, and the investigation team is preparing to take him to locations where he allegedly concealed the stolen money. The objective is to recover the entire allegedly stolen amount and determine where the accused kept the money after the incident.

According to police sources, information obtained during the interrogation is being verified. As part of the investigation, the team will inspect the suspected locations identified during questioning. If cash, documents or other material evidence are recovered based on the accused's identification of the locations, they will be included in the investigation. Police are also attempting to determine whether the allegedly stolen money was handed over to another person or transferred elsewhere.

Investigating agencies are also examining whether the accused planned the alleged theft alone or whether any other person was involved. Police are reviewing the accused's mobile phone, call detail records, bank transactions and other digital evidence to establish his activities before and after the incident and identify the individuals with whom he was in contact.

The scope of the investigation has been expanded further. Police have decided to question temple trust members Anil Mishra and Gopal Rao again. Officials believe the fresh questioning could help clarify the timeline of events, security arrangements and other important facts. However, police have not specified the particular issues on which they will be questioned again.

The investigation team is also reviewing the temple premises' security arrangements, the process for collecting offerings and the procedures for handling cash. Authorities are examining whether any lapse in security enabled the alleged theft. If any negligence is identified during the investigation, the relevant findings will be included in the report.

Police are analysing footage from nearby CCTV cameras, activities recorded at entry and exit points, and other technical evidence. Examination of physical evidence collected from the scene is also continuing. Officials said scientific and digital evidence is being used to reconstruct the sequence of events to ensure that no fact is overlooked.

According to sources, if the allegedly stolen money or other important evidence is recovered based on the accused's identification of locations, it could provide a new direction to the investigation. Police also want to determine whether the allegedly stolen money was used after the incident or remains stored elsewhere. The accused continues to be questioned in this regard.

Police said the investigation is proceeding in an impartial and evidence-based manner. Authorities are examining the recovery of the allegedly stolen money, the role of any possible associates and all aspects related to the security arrangements. Officials have urged the public not to believe any unverified information or rumours before the investigation is completed. They said official information related to the case will be made public only after the investigation is completed and the necessary facts have been verified.
