UP News: In a significant development related to an illegal conversion racket in the Balrampur district of Uttar Pradesh, the administration has taken stern action. A bulldozer was used on Tuesday morning to demolish the luxurious mansion of Jamaluddin alias Chhangur Baba. It is reported that this mansion was illegally constructed on government land, and Chhangur Baba, along with his gang, carried out activities from here.
Illegal Construction on Government Land
An investigation by the district administration revealed that the mansion, located in Madhpur village, was built by encroaching on land under Gata number 337/370. This land is in the name of Neetu alias Nasreen, who is said to be close to Chhangur Baba. The administration had already issued a notice regarding this construction and had also passed an eviction order.
Action Commenced with Three Bulldozers on the Mansion
On Tuesday morning, the administration team reached the site with three bulldozers and a heavy police force. The main gate of the mansion was locked, but the team initiated the process of demolishing the illegal construction. Earlier, the survey work could not be carried out on Monday due to opposition, but the administration took strict action and carried out the operation on Tuesday.
Mansion Built at a Cost of Three Crores
According to sources, this mansion was built on approximately three bighas of land, and its estimated cost is around three crore rupees. Chhangur Baba lived in the mansion with his associates, Naveen Rohra and Neetu Rohra. The administration suspects that he operated his entire illegal network from here.
Serious Allegations Already Registered in the Conversion Case
Chhangur Baba is accused of running an illegal conversion racket for a long time. After his role in the case came to light, the police and administration took action. As the investigation progressed, Chhangur Baba's illegal activities and assets were revealed.
Force Deployed in Balrampur
To deal with any untoward situation during the operation, the administration deployed a heavy police force in Balrampur. The entire area was cordoned off to prevent any opposition or obstruction during the action. Local people also appeared vigilant regarding this entire operation.
