Bihar Congress President Rajesh Ram Targets BJP, Discusses Gaya Visit and Bodh Gaya Promises. He Stated that BJP Should First Decide on their CM Face. The Rahul Gandhi and Congress Pair are Bringing a New Message to the Public.
Patna. Politics in Bihar has intensified recently. A program was organized at the Congress headquarters, Sadaqat Ashram, on the occasion of former Prime Minister Rajiv Gandhi's birth anniversary. During this event, State Congress President Rajesh Ram interacted with the media and shared his views on several critical issues. He not only conveyed a message of strength for the Congress but also directly accused the central government and the BJP.
Questions Raised on Gaya Visit
Rajesh Ram stated that the Prime Minister Narendra Modi's Gaya visit is utilizing government expenses for party work. He mentioned that in 2015, a promise was made to make Bodh Gaya the spiritual capital of the world, but that dream has not been fulfilled to date. Additionally, he alleged that centuries-old trees are being cut down in Bodh Gaya, and the state government is not taking any action on this.
Serious Questions Raised on PM Modi's Promises
The state president also said that Prime Minister Modi has held more than 50 rallies in Bihar so far, but promises related to flood control and sugar mills have not yet been fulfilled. He expressed hope that when Modi visits Bihar next time, he will respond to these promises and provide clear information to the public.
Taunt on CM Face and BJP
Rajesh Ram also made a statement regarding the upcoming Bihar assembly elections. He said that the BJP should first announce the name of its Chief Ministerial candidate, after which the opposition will decide on its strategy. He taunted, citing the example of Chirag Paswan, that the BJP might declare him as the Chief Ministerial face. Rajesh Ram said that the young and Rahul Gandhi are giving a new message in the politics of Bihar and are working according to the expectations of the public.
Congress's Stance on Women and Voter List
The state president also expressed his opinion on the controversial situation related to Ranju Devi. He said that it is not right to discuss only one person or name. Several other women's names have been removed from the voter list, which should also be considered. He said that the Congress will always be vigilant about the rights and safety of women.
Reaction to Calling Rahul Gandhi a Public Leader
On the controversial statement regarding Rahul Gandhi, Rajesh Ram said that like Bihar's public leader Karpoori Thakur, Rahul Gandhi has also become a public leader of the country today through his actions. He clarified that only one person cannot be a public leader; different leaders become the heroes of the public at different times.
Presence of Congress Leaders in the Press Conference
Senior Congress leaders Premchand Mishra, Chandan Bagchi, Abhay Dubey, and Rajesh Rathore, along with several other leaders, were present at this press conference. They discussed the party's plans and strategies for the upcoming elections with the media.
