Bihar Cooperative Bank Recruitment: Today, July 10, 2025, is the last date for submitting applications for the recruitment of Customer Service Executive/Assistant i.e. Clerk posts in Bihar State Cooperative Bank. The recruitment process started on June 21, 2025, and is now in its final stage.
Total 257 Posts to be Filled
A total of 257 clerk posts will be filled under this recruitment campaign. These posts are in various District Cooperative Banks, State Cooperative Banks and other related institutions. Candidates can get a good opportunity for a government job in the banking sector. Eligibility: Graduation Degree and Computer Knowledge Required
To apply for the clerk posts, candidates must have a graduation degree from a recognized university. Along with this, the candidate must have a basic diploma in computer application or should have general knowledge of computers. This condition has been kept because digital work in the banking sector has increased.
Age Limit and Relaxation Details
The minimum age of the candidates applying is fixed at 18 years and the maximum age is 33 years. However, age relaxation will be given to the reserved categories as per the rules.
- Candidates of Scheduled Caste/Scheduled Tribe (SC/ST) category will get a relaxation of 5 years.
- Other Backward Class (OBC/BC/WBC) candidates will get a relaxation of 3 years.
Pay Scale: Different Salaries According to the Bank
The pay scale has been fixed differently according to the appointment in various banks.
- Selected candidates in District Cooperative Bank will get a monthly salary of ₹17,900 to ₹47,920.
- In the Cooperative Bank, a salary of ₹24,050 to ₹64,480 per month will be given.
- In other banks, a pay scale of ₹7,200 to ₹19,300 and ₹11,765 to ₹31,540 has been fixed.
- Along with this, the candidates will also get other government allowances such as dearness allowance, HRA, PF and pension facilities.
Selection Process: Selection will be in two stages
Candidates will be selected on the basis of preliminary examination and main examination.
- The preliminary examination will have 100 questions of 100 marks. It will be in multiple-choice (MCQ) format.
- Subjects: English Language, Reasoning Ability, Quantitative Aptitude.
- Candidates who pass the preliminary examination will be called for the main examination.
- The main examination will be of a total of 200 marks, which will include questions related to Banking Awareness, General Knowledge and Computer.

The application fee has been fixed for every category.
- The application fee for SC/ST and disabled candidates is ₹800.
- The application fee for General, OBC and other category candidates is ₹1000.
