Exam Dates and Schedule
The Bihar Police Constable written examination will be conducted in multiple phases. CSBC has already announced the exam dates. The exam will be held on the following dates:

- July 23, 2025
- July 27, 2025
- July 30, 2025
- August 3, 2025
Each exam will be held in a single shift from 12 PM to 2 PM. Candidates must arrive at the center at least one hour before the exam begins.
Total Vacancies and Selection Process
A total of 19,838 vacancies were advertised for the Constable position in the Bihar Police. This recruitment process involves three stages:
- Written Examination
- Physical Efficiency Test (PET)
- Physical Standard Test (PST)
Only candidates who pass the written examination will be called for the subsequent stages.
Written Exam Pattern and Syllabus
The Bihar Police Constable written exam will be OMR sheet-based and will be of 10th-standard level. It will consist of 100 multiple-choice questions covering the following subjects:
- Hindi
- English
- Mathematics
- Social Science
- Science
- Current Affairs
Each question carries one mark, making the total exam score 100. The exam duration is two hours. Importantly, candidates scoring less than 30% in the written exam will not be invited for the Physical Efficiency Test.
