Bihar Politics: "Jaychand" is the word dominating Bihar's political discourse lately. This term has ignited a fresh round of political rhetoric and accusations. RJD leader Tej Pratap Yadav's recent social media posts have further fueled the controversy. The ensuing accusations within the BJP, JDU, and RJD have introduced a new twist to Bihar's political scene.

Tej Pratap Yadav's Serious Allegation: A "Jaychand" Within the Party

Through social media posts, Tej Pratap Yadav accused certain party leaders of being "Jaychand," alleging a conspiracy to separate him from his brother, Tejashwi Yadav. He wrote, "Those who dream of separating me from my Arjun, you will never succeed in your conspiracies." He also stated that "Jaychands" exist everywhere, both inside and outside the party.

Addressing his parents, Lalu Yadav and Rabri Devi, Tej Pratap wrote that they are his true world. He claimed that some greedy individuals are attempting to create a rift between his parents and the party. This statement hints at the ongoing internal strife within the party.

BJP Raises the Question: Who is Bihar's Real "Jaychand"?

Following Tej Pratap's "Jaychand" statement, the BJP seized the opportunity. The BJP released posters on social media questioning the identity of Bihar's real "Jaychand." State president Samrat Chaudhary stated that the true "Jaychand" is the one who betrayed the ideals of Jayaprakash Narayan and Karpoori Thakur by aligning with the Congress. He indirectly targeted Lalu Yadav without mentioning his name.

The BJP directly questioned whether the leaders responsible for Bihar's ruin are the true "Jaychands." The BJP's posters and leaders' statements have intensified the debate.

JDU Also Takes a Shot

The JDU also attempted to capitalize politically on the controversy. The party's official social media account wrote that everyone knows who the real "Jaychand" is—the one who betrayed the leaders of the socialist movement and collaborated with the Congress, leading Bihar towards ruin. The JDU's statement clearly indicates its intention to fuel the controversy.

Tej Pratap Yadav vs. Sanjay Yadav: Internal Conflict within RJD?

Bihar's political analysts believe Tej Pratap Yadav's remarks target RJD Rajya Sabha MP Sanjay Yadav. There have been reports of long-standing tension between Tej Pratap and Sanjay Yadav, the latter considered a close confidante of Tejashwi Yadav. Tej Pratap's repeated use of the term "Jaychand" points towards this internal conflict.

Tej Pratap Yadav's Expulsion: A New Controversy

It is noteworthy that Tej Pratap Yadav was recently expelled from the RJD for six years. This was due to a controversy related to his personal life, where he revealed his alleged relationship with Anushka Yadav. Senior party leader Abdul Bari Siddiqui issued the expulsion letter. Lalu Yadav described it as against social and family values.

Jitan Ram Manjhi's Sharp Attack

Union Minister Jitan Ram Manjhi also shared his opinion on the matter. In a social media post, he wrote that everyone knows who the real "Jaychand" was—the one who orchestrated the massacre of Dalits, backward castes, and the deprived in Bihar. He stated that everyone recognizes those who were at the helm of power at that time and pushed Bihar into "Jungle Raj."
