Bihar Politics: The word "Jaychand" is dominating the political discourse in Bihar. It has fueled a fresh round of political rhetoric and accusations. RJD leader Tej Pratap Yadav's recent social media posts have exacerbated the issue. The ensuing accusations within the BJP, JD(U), and RJD have introduced a new twist to Bihar's political scene.

Tej Pratap Yadav's Serious Allegation: A 'Jaychand' within the Party

Through social media posts, Tej Pratap Yadav accused some party leaders of being "Jaychands," alleging a conspiracy to separate him from his brother, Tejashwi Yadav. He wrote, "Those who dream of separating me from my Arjun, you will never succeed in your conspiracies." He further stated that "Jaychands" exist everywhere, both within and outside the party.

Addressing his parents, Lalu Yadav and Rabri Devi, Tej Pratap wrote that they are his real world. He claimed that some greedy individuals are attempting to create a rift between his parents and the party. This statement hints at internal strife within the party.

BJP Raises the Question: Who is Bihar's Real 'Jaychand'?

Following Tej Pratap's "Jaychand" statement, the BJP seized the opportunity. The BJP released posters on social media questioning who Bihar's real "Jaychand" is. State President Samrat Chaudhary stated that the true "Jaychand" is the one who betrayed the ideals of Jayaprakash Narayan and Karpoori Thakur by aligning with the Congress. He indirectly targeted Lalu Yadav without naming him.

The BJP directly questioned whether the leaders responsible for Bihar's decline are the real "Jaychands." The BJP's posters and leaders' statements have intensified the debate.

JD(U) Also Takes a Shot

The JD(U) also attempted to gain political mileage from the controversy. The party posted on its official social media account that everyone knows who the real "Jaychand" is—the one who betrayed socialist movement leaders and collaborated with the Congress, leading Bihar towards ruin. The JD(U)'s statement clearly indicates their intention to capitalize on the issue.

Tej Pratap Yadav versus Sanjay Yadav: Internal Conflict within RJD?

Bihar political observers believe Tej Pratap Yadav's remarks target RJD Rajya Sabha MP Sanjay Yadav. There have been reports of long-standing tension between Tej Pratap and Sanjay Yadav, who is considered very close to Tejashwi Yadav. Tej Pratap's repeated use of the term "Jaychand" hints at this internal conflict.

Tej Pratap Yadav's Expulsion: A New Controversy

It is noteworthy that Tej Pratap Yadav was recently expelled from the RJD for six years. The reason was a personal controversy involving his disclosure of a relationship with Anushka Yadav. Senior party leader Abdul Bari Siddiqui issued the expulsion letter. Lalu Yadav described it as against social and family values.

Jitan Ram Manjhi's Sharp Attack

Union Minister Jitan Ram Manjhi also shared his views on the issue. He posted on social media, stating that everyone knows who the real "Jaychand" was—the one who orchestrated the massacre of Dalits, OBCs, and the underprivileged in Bihar. He said that everyone recognizes those who were at the helm of power at that time and pushed Bihar into "Jungle Raj."
