On Monday, a threatening email was received by two private schools, causing distress among school administration and parents. Bomb squads, dog squads, and police arrived at the scene promptly and conducted thorough searches. Investigating agencies have commenced a review of the emails containing the threats. The mini-secretariat in Alwar also received a warning via email to be evacuated by 2 PM, but no suspicious items were discovered.
Threatening Email Sent from Tamil Nadu
The administration was put on alert after receiving threatening emails at schools in Jaipur and Alwar, and the mini-secretariat. Immediately following the threats, an investigation commenced within the secretariat premises, and staff were safely evacuated. This is not the first such incident; similar threats have been received twice before.
The administration stated that bomb disposal squads and police teams were deployed at the scene due to the threats. Surrounding areas were also cordoned off to prevent any untoward incidents.
