A brother and sister were critically injured after being hit by a speeding bus during a dust storm in Nalanda district of Bihar while returning from a wedding ceremony late in the evening.
According to available information, the siblings were on their way home from a relative’s wedding when weather conditions suddenly deteriorated and a b dust storm reduced visibility on the road. Drivers reportedly struggled to see clearly due to the heavy dust.
During this period of low visibility, a speeding bus struck both individuals. The impact left them seriously injured, causing them to fall onto the road. People present at the scene immediately assisted and transported them to a nearby hospital, where their condition remains critical.
Eyewitnesses stated that the road was covered in thick dust, making visibility extremely poor. Under such conditions, the bus driver was unable to maintain control of the vehicle, leading to the collision.
Police reached the spot after receiving information about the incident and initiated an investigation. The bus has been seized, and efforts are underway to locate the driver.
