J-20s: Fifth-Generation Stealth Fighter Jet
The J-20s is also known by the name 'Mighty Dragon'. This aircraft is a fifth-generation Stealth Fighter and is designed for all-weather operations. There are three main variants of the J-20s – J-20, J-20A, and J-20s. The first version, J-20, was designed in 2010. The J-20A performed in 2022, while the J-20s was officially unveiled for the first time at the Zhuhai Air Show in 2024.
The specialty of this aircraft is that it is the world's first 2-seater 5th Gen Fighter Jet. Experts believe that the second pilot assists in mission control and strategy during combat. China's state-run newspaper Global Times stated that having two pilots in the J-20s helps in directing other aircraft in combat and making missions more effective. China is the third country after the United States and Russia to have developed a 5th Generation Fighter. The US has the F-22 and F-35, while Russia has the Su-57.

The J-20s was first spotted in 2021. This aircraft is capable of facing not only ground and air threats but can also operate in long-range flights and at high speeds. Display of China's Missile Power
China also showcased new weapon systems for the first time at the parade. This includes the DF-5C Intercontinental Ballistic Missile (ICBM). This missile is capable of targeting up to 20,000 kilometers. Experts say that this missile can reach any part of the world. Additionally, China also presented the DF-26D Ship-Killer Ballistic Missile and the CJ-1000 Long-Range Hypersonic Cruise Missile.
China demonstrated laser weapons, the H-6J Long-Range Bomber, AWACS aircraft, air defense systems, and the HQ-29 Ballistic Missile Interceptor, showing that its military technology can face any challenge.
Other Advanced Military Equipment
China also displayed several other advanced weapons at the parade. These include Carrier-Killer Missiles, the Type 99B Tank, the RPL-7, and many drones. Deep-strike drones and air defense systems were also displayed. Chinese experts state that these weapons will provide China with strength in both offensive and defensive sectors.
