Chirag Paswan U-Turns: Affirms NDA Unity and Support for Nitish Kumar as Bihar CM

Chirag Paswan made a major U-turn, stating that the NDA is completely united in Bihar. Nitish Kumar will take the oath as Chief Minister again after the assembly elections.

Bihar Politics: Union Minister and Lok Janshakti Party (Ram Vilas) chief Chirag Paswan recently made a significant political U-turn, clarifying that the NDA is completely united in Bihar and that Nitish Kumar will once again become the Chief Minister after the upcoming assembly elections. This statement comes at a time when Paswan had recently criticized Nitish Kumar's law and order situation and had even said that he regretted supporting the Nitish government.

Differences Within the NDA or Part of a Strategy?

Chirag Paswan's changed stance has been surprising for political analysts. Some consider it a compulsion of the alliance, while others see it as a strategic political move. Paswan also said in his statement that the responsibility of an ally is not only to criticize but also to bring the problems within the government to the forefront and try to improve them.

"We Will Fight the Elections Under the Leadership of Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar"

Chirag Paswan clearly stated, "We are fighting the upcoming assembly elections under the leadership of Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar, and after winning the elections, he will become the Chief Minister again. The NDA is united in Bihar." Paswan's statement came at a time when he had, just a few days prior, put the Nitish government in the dock on the issue of crime and said that the government had surrendered before criminals.

Reiterated Commitment to Prime Minister Narendra Modi

In his statements, Paswan also reiterated his loyalty and commitment to Prime Minister Modi. He said, "I have repeatedly stated that my commitment and love are for the Prime Minister. Elections will be fought in Bihar under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, and after the results, Nitish Kumar will take the oath as Chief Minister."

Cooperation in Politics is Not Limited to Seats

Chirag Paswan also said that as an honest ally, his duty is not only to focus on the seats from which he is contesting. He questioned, "Should I only focus on the seats I am contesting? Then what kind of ally am I? Shouldn't I campaign on all 243 seats?"

Attempt to Respond to the Opposition

Through his statement, Paswan also tried to give a kind of answer to the opposition. He said that the opposition distorts his statements, but if they listen to him completely, there will be no confusion in their minds.

Chirag Also Spoke About the Voter List in Bihar

Speaking about the ongoing Special Intensive Revision of the voter list in Bihar, Chirag Paswan said that this process has already happened four times and there is no new change in it, just that digital technology has been added this time.
