Patna: Regarding the Bihar Assembly elections 2025, Chirag Paswan's party, Lok Janshakti Party (Ramvilas), has prepared its first list of candidates. As per the party's plan, the first list will be released on Wednesday at 2 PM and the second list at 5 PM.

LJP (Ramvilas) is contesting 29 seats under the NDA alliance. According to sources, candidates for 27 seats have already been finalized, while the process of finalizing names for two seats is ongoing. Chirag Paswan also clarified that there are no differences with JDU and other allies, and the seat-sharing arrangement is completely balanced.

Which Candidate Received Symbol for Which Seat

LJP has declared its prominent leaders as candidates and distributed symbols. These include Raju Tiwari, the party's State President; Sanjay Paswan, General Secretary; Hulas Pandey, Chairman of the Parliamentary Board; and Seemant Mrinal, Chirag Paswan's nephew.

Raju Tiwari will contest from Govindganj, Seemant Mrinal from Garkha (Reserved), Sanjay Paswan from Bakhri (Reserved), and Hulas Pandey from Brahampur constituency. Seemant Mrinal is the son of Dhananjay Paswan and was recently appointed Chairman of the State SC Commission by the Nitish government.

Uncertainty Remains on Some Seats

Among the total 29 seats allocated to LJP by the NDA, several are currently sitting seats of JDU or other allied parties. This is why candidates for these seats have not yet been announced. According to party sources, as soon as the situation for these seats becomes clear, the list of remaining candidates will be released immediately.

Chirag Paswan states that the party is emphasizing giving opportunities to youth and new faces in this election, to further strengthen LJP's influence in the Bihar Assembly.

LJP's Position in the NDA Alliance

The final decision regarding seat-sharing in the NDA alliance has already been made, though some stir remains concerning certain seats. Chirag Paswan clarified that LJP (Ramvilas) will emerge as a b face of the NDA in Bihar and has entered the elections with the goal of forming a government under the leadership of Nitish Kumar.

Experts believe that the strategy behind LJP's candidate selection has been to ensure as many "friendly fights" as possible, meaning to minimize clashes with alliance partners and maintain a balance of seats.
